- All donors must respect the Research Independence Charter
- Funding sources are disclosed annually by category and range
- Political parties, lobbying entities and opaque intermediaries are excluded
Funding Categories
Public and Multilateral Funding
Support from governmental, international or multilateral research and cultural programmes.
Foundations and Non‑Profits
Philanthropic organisations aligned with transparency, research integrity and responsible innovation.
Corporate Support (Limited and Controlled)
Corporate funding is accepted only where aligned with public‑interest technology governance and subject to ethics review.
Annual Transparency Report
Each year, Altair Media publishes a transparency overview including:

- Supported research or engagement programmes
- Conflict‑of‑interest disclosures
